Anthology of Poetry Assignment:


Directions:

1. Brainstorm a list of five possible topics that you would like to write about. You will need to show this list to your teacher before moving to step 2.


Due: October 10, 2011 5 pts.

2. Select your topic that you would like to write about. Complete the Poetry Writing Practice paper that your teacher gave you. You will need to show this to your teacher before you move to step 3.

Due: October 12th 10 pts.


3. Begin writing your rough draft of your poem following the requirements that your teacher gave you. Remember to refer to your rubric for grading. Once you are finished, show your teacher your poem.


Due: October 13th 5 pts.


4. Revise the poem as needed. Once you are done with final copy, turn your typed poem into your teacher for a grade.

*If you do not think you have enough class time, you may work on it at home.



Due: October 14th. 60 pts.


** In the event we have Beaver Ponds on the 14th, you may turn your poem in on Monday, October 17th.
